we will still be able to get Kwon products for students that wish them. If you require any items please inform Raymond and he will get you a price for the item.

Please note that the first Monday of the month (starting from October) will be a sparring class, and all student's attending should bring theirown body armour with them.

Pollock Park Display
PollokPark Display Saturday 7th August
Many of you will know that we have produced a taekwondo display at Pollok Family Day
within PollokPark every year for the last 17 years.
The Pollok Family Day is a major annual event run by Glasgow City Council and attracts approx 5000 visitors.
This year’s event will be on Saturday 7th August.
Our two displays are at the lawns in front of Pollok House.
Our display times are 11.30am & 2.15pm.
All students are requested to meet within PollokPark at The Pollok House Lawns at 10.30am for a practice run.
ALL club members, no matter how long you have been training are requested to attend and take part in this display. It is possible we may get an audience of 500 - 1000 people and it is important that students promote taekwondo and our clubs by taking part.
The public car parking is at The Burrell Collection car park and is approx 5 minutes walk.
Please let your instructor know that you want to take part.
Grading Seminar 2010
Saturday 28th August, 9.30am to 11.30am
£10 per person, Free for Dan Grading Candidates

CLUB BBQ
All students attending out club BBQ on Saturday 21st August, should meet at 9.30am out side the old Drumoyne Primary School. ALL students should be accompanied by a responsible adult and should bring at least one change of clothes with them.
If you have not given your name to the instructors yet to say that you are going, please do so before Wednesday 11th, so we can get the food organised.

Tell everyone what your favourite Taekwondo Technique is. Go to our votes page (click this link), and vote. Also your favourite pattern can be voted for at the bottom of our patterns page.
As of September, we will start emailing the club news letter to student's that have given us their email address (should be on student's record form).
This will help us with the costs of paper and ink, and will make the club greener. For the student's that do not have a email address a paper copy will be given to them. Please send your email address to raymond.mccoy@ntlworld.com
(Please note that the newsletter will always be on the web site to be viewed)
Please return the forms that was sent out with the June newsletter. We need to keep our students record's up to date.
Any students that do not return the BBQ form, will be considered as not going and will not be included on the list.

Grading
If you are grading on Monday 22nd please be at class for 7pm sharp, grading finishing at 8.45pm.
Students grading on Wednesday 24th, please be at class for 6.30pm sharp, grading finishing at 7.30pm.
Please note that the pattern's videos are back working on the web site again.
Could all student's please refrain from wearing any watches or jewellery to class. If it cannot be removed then it must be taped over, as this is for your own and your partners safety.

Our next club grading in March will be held over two nights, due to time scale. Student's will be told nearer the time which night they have to attend for their grading. All student's should be training hard for this grading.
Olympic sports seminar with George Ramos (2 times Olympic Champion) & Modibo Keita.
Sunday 7th March, Stenhousemuir Sports Centre. (click for more details)
We are looking for student's to attend some competitions this year. All competitions will be advertised on the web site and in the newsletter as they come up. If you are intrested in competing please see your instructors.
All student's will be issued a body armour, that they must bring to class on a Monday night. We have issued them out as we are now short of storage space since moving from Invercraig hall.
These should be returned to the instructors, if a student is leaving our club.

Could all parents please make sure that they are at the club ontime to pick up their child, as the school closes exactly on time.
